As promised, I will share some pics from Isla Reta with you all.
I won't bore you with all 200 plus photos we took, but I will tell you that I've found a new favorite spot here!
The 'resort' is like camping at a state park in Michigan by the lake.

We cooked our own food, slept in cement floored huts, swam, enjoyed walking and exploring, had s'mores at night, watched the stars....it was beautiful and relaxing.

I thank God for his beautiful creation, for a chance to enjoy a few days away from daily life and work, and for good friends.

One of the neighbor's pigs got loose and ran into our camp as we were cooking dinner. Two guys came and caught him. Soon he was to be someone's dinner!

At the dock back in Davao. Part of our crew were waiting with our stuff while Kurt and Jeff went to get cars to come pick them up. One of the bicycle drivers let Ben and Jadon ride around on his bike. They had a great time taking turns pedaling it!

Jerard was seen by a physical therapist today at "Resources for the Blind" for an evaluation.
He will start physical therapy (p.t.) next week three times a week to help him gain motor skills.
We were very pleased with the therapist and the facilities!

18 years ago I'd written a song for Kurt, for our wedding, based on Proverbs 31, Ecclesiastes 4 and Ephesians 5.
Our marriage has had many joys and blessings, seasons of traveling rough roads, wonderful adventures (including our current life here in the Philippines),......
I am thankful that God gave Kurt to me for my husband and friend.

Beth Mari was born early this morning (midnight to be exact)
to our dear friends Jocy and James.
Beth Mari measured 50 cm long (19.7 inches) and weighed in at 2.95 kilos (6.5 pounds).
It is quite the humbling honor to have friends name their child after me. Her first name is in my honor; her second name is in honor of Jocy's dear friend MariLyn (who also happens to be Jocy's OB doctor and both our GYN doctora!)
Both Mom and Baby are doing fine though Beth does have a slight infection of some kind and is on an antibiotic for that. She may be in the hospital a few days due to that.
Please keep them in your prayers.
