I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion
of food. Job 23:12
I've been studying the book of Job and really find the above verse so true. His Word is more delightful than food. His Word is my lamp.
We really do not live by bread alone, but by His Word.
Matthew 4:4 ""Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
Ben's class recently presented a very fun program at the elementary chapel on patience.
The main verse was Proverbs 19:11
A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.
James is very social and loves time with his friends. Here is one of his friends and him having fun at a recent soccer game Mikayla and Kirsten were playing in.

I like the saying. It is what God wants us to do; He is teaching me more and more to stop trying to be in control and in charge and just let Him be that. There is a lot of courage in giving up control and allowing God to lead...but it is so much better that way. He is soverign and all things work out for our good and His glory.
Like He says in Psalm 37: 6 - 8
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
