This academic year our oldest daughter, Mikayla, starts college at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Kirsten starts 10th grade, Ben starts 6th grade and James starts Kindergarten....yep, we have a college student, a high school student, a middle school student and an elementary student!
Mikayla and Kirsten
Ben turned 12 on August 3rd. The girls and I called to sing Happy Birthday to him. He had a great day bowling, playing with a friend, eating pizza and ice cream.
Ben is a blessing and I am thankful he is my son!
I pray that Ben continues to seek the things that are above where Christ is. I pray he sets his mind on things that are above and not on things that are on earth. I pray he continues to put to death what is earthly and puts off the old self and puts on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of God. May whatever Ben does in word or deed be done in the name of Christ Jesus his Lord, with thanksgiving. (based on Colossians 3)
Kurt sent me a picture of a grasshopper he recently found on his computer!
Mikayla, Kirsten and I have been enjoying time with friends and family here in the USA.
Our sending church had an open house party to celebrate
Mikayla's high school graduation!
Ice Cream at Baskin-Robbins. Yum!
James decided to try and give himself a hair cut with his Dad's electric razor. He was going for a mohawk look.
Needless to say, it didn't turn out like he wanted. Kurt fixed the hair cut by giving James a shave!
