Mikayla, Kirsten and I have been enjoying reconnecting with friends and family.
We have been blessed in many ways and thank God for all His blessings!
Monday the 19th of August we will head to Lookout Mountain, Georgia to get Mikayla set up in college.
Please pray we have safe travels and pray for Mikayla as she transitions to college. Thanks!

James with his kindergarten class on the first day of school
Ben and James started school in the Philippines today. Ben is in 6th grade, middle school. James started Kindergarten.
This academic year our oldest daughter, Mikayla, starts college at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Kirsten starts 10th grade, Ben starts 6th grade and James starts Kindergarten....yep, we have a college student, a high school student, a middle school student and an elementary student!

Ben turned 12 on August 3rd. The girls and I called to sing Happy Birthday to him. He had a great day bowling, playing with a friend, eating pizza and ice cream.
Ben is a blessing and I am thankful he is my son!
I pray that Ben continues to seek the things that are above where Christ is. I pray he sets his mind on things that are above and not on things that are on earth. I pray he continues to put to death what is earthly and puts off the old self and puts on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of God. May whatever Ben does in word or deed be done in the name of Christ Jesus his Lord, with thanksgiving. (based on Colossians 3)
