Skype

We skyped the other day with James and Jerard.
It was so good to see our little guys. We miss them very much.
It was so good to see them both looking well. Can't wait to hold them each again in my arms!!!!!!

Our family looking at James and Jerard on the computer screen.

James seemed a little bewildered by hearing and seeing us but
not being able to touch us in real life...he was touching the screen
to try and touch us....

Jerard wasn't so sure about all the sounds and headphones...

We spent four wonderful days in Northern Michigan

Silver Lake at Sunset

with Kurt's brother and his wife and their kids (Kent, Anne, Hannah, and Michael.)
What a blessing to have wonderful in-laws and friends.

Kent, Anne, Hannah, and Michael - family time on the hammock!

We had a great time boating, hiking, talking, shopping, exploring a beach for Petosky stones, eating ice cream, etc!!!!!

Kirsten flew up to the lake with her grandpa!

Grandpa Gene and Kirsten with his plane.

Kirsten is 11!!!!!

11 years old today!
What a blessing Kirsten is to us!

Kirsten,

Daddy and I have not stopped giving thanks for you,
remembering you in our prayers.

We keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. We pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

We pray this for you and all your brothers and sister.

We love you lots!

In Christ, and for His Glory,

Dad and Mom

Friends and happenings

We have been enjoying time with friends and family. Recently Mikayla, Kirsten, and I went bowling with friends from the home school group we had been involved in when we lived here. That was fun to reconnect.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mikayla is old enough to start driver's training so the other day I let her practice driving some on Grandpa's farm. Thankfully he has a long driveway! She did pretty well, but top speed was about 13 mph!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kurt shared at the evening service at Tyrone last night. His message was on suffering. It was really good.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today we are heading up north with Kurt's brother and his family. We will be in Wolverine , MI for four days. I'll post on that activity when we get back!
Keep us in your prayers for safe travels and restful times!
Thanks.
Fun on the Farm!
We spent this past Sunday with my sister, Meredy, and her husband, Ron.
We shared at their Sunday School Class in the morning. It was a blessing to us to be able to share a bit of what we do in the Philippines with this great group of supporters.
Kurt explaining the DVD presentation!
Ben passing out Davao keychains to the class participants.
Then we spent the afternoon at "Uncle Ron and Aunt Meredy's farm."
We had a great meal cooked by Meredy. No wonder missionaries on furlough gain weight....though we are trying hard not to!
It was fun to see the horses and get a cart ride, too!
