Tone Improvement

One thing I really appreciate about Faith Academy is their excellent music program.
Tonight there was a band concert featuring the Middle School Combined band, Middle School Advanced Band, 5th grade beginning band, High School Praise Ensemble, and High School Jazz Ensemble.
The Band director, Nate Becker, does and excellent job with all the various bands he directs!
Kirsten plays percussion in the Middle School Combined and Advanced Bands.

Psalm 98:6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD!

God's Blessing (one of them....)

Back in February of this year I had blogged that Kirsten would be needing braces (see February 18, 2010 entry).
The plan to get her braces had gotten side-tracked due to Jerard's health issues and expenses.
A few weeks ago, when she smiled, I noticed her teeth seemed rather straight to me so I had the dentist re-evaluate her teeth last week for whether or not braces were needed.
Praise God, the consensus was that she does not need any braces!
Kirsten is happy about that. And I am thanking God for His blessing of not needing to pay for braces!!!! (though I do know He would've supplied the funding for that if we needed to go that route!)

Psalm 33:1-5
Shout for joy in the LORD, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright.
Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings!
Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.

For the word of the LORD is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.

Sweet Fellowship

I've been really enjoying attending a weekly Bible Study for Moms with young kids! There are usually 9 - 12 of us per week. And we are quite international - Ireland, Korea, Germany, New Zealand, and USA!!!!!

We are currently studying the book of Proverbs.

Today, we had the Bible Study at my house.

Beth was laughing as I and another mom took her picture with her
son, Luke, sound asleep in her arms! Luke is a day older than
James and Jerard!

Painting the Kitchen

Well, I got my 'summer project' done and added a bit of colour to our kitchen area!

Now, on to the dining room and sala (living room)!

(thankfully, paint is inexpensive here!)

James and Jerard

A quiet morning playing with my little guys!

Jerard smiling.

James!

James and Jerard! Soon they will be three years old!

To say that our family life has been challenged by the addition of James and Jerard would be quite an understatement.

But to say, also, that we are deeply blessed by these two is also an understatement.

Psalm 36:7-8
How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow
of your wings.
8They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.
