Prayer for My College Student
Lord, we pray for the protection of Mikayla
We ask that you would guard her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus
That you would wrap her up in Your love
And deliver her from all evil
Lord, we pray that you would give Mikayla great enthusiasm for her studies
May you inspire her each and everyday
May each seminar and class bring fresh inspiration to her work
May each moment be filled with the energy she needs for her tasks
Lord, we pray that Mikayla would know the hope to which she is called
That her life would be transformed by revelation from Heaven
That You would inspire her direction
And gently lead her into her destiny You have ordained for her
Lord, we especially pray for Mikayla's friends at college
May they come to know Your goodness and love
To walk in Your freedom and grace
All the days of their life
And now, Father, may You strengthen Mikayla with power through Your Spirit
in her inner being so that Christ dwells in her heart through faith,
and that she, being rooted and grounded in love may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that she may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Grant her Your peace.
And now to You who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to You be glory and honor and praise forevermore.
