Many men here earn money by collecting plastic, cardboard, discarded appliances and furniture, etc....
So, it's not unusual to see a bicycle trike loaded like this one....
Widening roads
to increase better traffic flow -
but what we've noticed here....
is they widen roads first
and move the telephone poles later!!!!
it's not unusual for signs to be partially in the road lane
Last weekend a big flood affected many areas of Davao.
People in the low lying area near where we live were flooded out.
Our church currently has 76 families (approx. 240 people) living in the 2nd floor of the community center.
Please pray for all those affected by the flood as they clean and rebuild.
